While talking with my husband tonight, I suddenly remembered something J said yesterday that I had not yet shared. Sometime yesterday afternoon, J came to me from the living room and said, in all seriousness, "Mama, my head just fell on the floor." Sometimes, guys, mama just can't help laughing while kissing a booboo!
This sort of thing happens a lot around our house, in one form or another. We enjoy words and phrases with multiple meanings and a good helping of sarcastic humor. Sometimes the things my children say hit me in just the right way to give me the laugh I desperately needed. Thankfully, it usually doesn't take much work for them to be included in the fun!
